THE BUTLER DID IT is an international website established to support Scots actor GERARD BUTLER.   Please note that our site AND forum  only post official press releases or factual news pertaining to Mr. Butler's career and/or personal information which has been authorized for release by his management.  As a result, tabloid journalism and/or gossip pertaining to Mr. Butler and his private life, as well as paparazzi photographs which we consider to be invasive and intrusive of Mr. Butler's privacy will NOT be allowed at TBDI.   

The members of TBDI are a caring group of kindred spirits from all over the world whose primary concern is to respect and support our favourite actor, GERARD BUTLER.  We are the original group by this name and our members are known as, "The Butler's Jewels" .   The above tartan has been adopted as our official signature trademark and like a close-knit highland clan we are here to support Mr. Butler, NOT exploit him.  

At TBDI, there are NO bells and whistles.  We want the site to be user friendly and easy to navigate.    Although posting to our Forum is private, you will still be able to find the lastest information regarding Mr. Butler's work, including movie trailers, promotional information and/or campaigns regarding films and premiere dates, film reviews, as well as any projects announced by Mr. Butler's production company, Evil Twins Productions.   We will not engage in gossip or speculation; only facts.   Our goal is simple -- to keep you updated on recent official news and promotional pictures, and what you can do to support Gerard Butler.
